Our story is one of special times and spectacular cookies. I will always remember the special times I spent as a little girl with my uncle Wilton who showed me how to bake cookies and other goodies. When my husband and I were first married, all we had to give were cookies as gifts and it turned out that giving all that we had was the best gift. When our children were born, the times were even more special as we watched them enjoy not only baking but giving away their treats. Baking brought us together as a family and it has become an educational experience, a time to share, to encourage, to build creativity and to foster tradition. Most of all, through my children's little hands and all the "little hands" that visit our cookie company, I realize how special each child really is. As parents and guardians, we have to set aside time to know them, grow them and show them just how special they are. We hope that our cookie mix will encourage families to turn rushed hours into sweet hours. Take the time with a child today. What may seem to be a small impact, may be the one that lasts a lifetime.
